Hi, and welcome!
I’m Josie, and I’m endlessly curious— it’s what drives everything I do. I love exploring the world through both art and science, my two favorite ways of making sense of how things work and how people feel.
Through painting, I tell stories with lines, color, and emotion. I bring that same spirit to design and research, where I am thinking in terms of future stories: dreaming up innovative, real-world solutions that will help people in imaginative and unexpected ways.
So far, I’ve explored these ideas through various projects in water purification, medical device design, and research on accessibility in art, a challenge that was both meaningful and fun to take on. For the past two years, I’ve also had the privilege of teaching students at a school for the deaf and blind, an experience that showed me how art can connect us when words can’t. That connection is unlike any other I’ve known, and I’m deeply grateful for it.
At home, life is lively with my three younger siblings. Between laughter, games, and mini adventures, they remind me daily of patience, joy, and what love looks like in motion.
I’m eager to keep growing at the intersection of art and science—creating designs that not only look beautiful but help people in meaningful ways.
Thanks for stopping by!
